Skootr ties-up with DLF, launches 46,500 sq ft co-working space in Gurgaon

NEW DELHI: Skootr, a co-working company, has tied-up with real estate developer DLF to launch a 46,500 sq ft of co-working space in Cyber City, Gurgaon.

The facility will have a capacity of 500-600 seats. The average price of a seat here will be Rs 20,000 per month.

Skootr plans to target corporate MNCs and SMEs through this premium co-working space.

“We are very excited with this tie-up and 60% of the seats have already been sold out. We believe that this partnership is going to be most fruitful for companies with relatively small office space requirements, as they’re now going to operate through one of the most premium commercial hubs across the country,” says Puneet Chandra, Founder, Skootr.

This is the second major tie-up company has done in last three months. In March it tied-up with Supertech to develop a 30,000 sq ft of co-working space in its SuperNova project situated in Sector 94, Noida.

With the addition of this co-working space Skootr now offers co-working space in the price segment of Rs 7000-25,000 per seat. “This gives us a competitive edge over our competitors which are offering services in one or two segments only. We are also working to acquire another 100,000 square feet of office spaces at various parts of the country,” says Ankit Jain, Co Founder & Chief Acquisition Officer of the company.

Skootr further aims to add up to 8-10 locations across major metropolitan regions to its portfolio by the end of 2017. It is also focusing on offering value added services to its clients through various tie-ups with restaurants, hotels, etc. It will soon launch a Skootr Value Card for such services.
