Skootr lease out 27,000 sq ft of coworking space to MattsenKumar

NEW DELHI: Co-working space company Skootr has leased out 27,000 sq ft of its space in Jaipur to MattsenKumar, a call centre outsourcing company.

MattsenKumar has signed a long lease with Skootr and plans to expand the current 500-seats arrangement to 1000 seats within a year.

“With companies like MattsenKumar, having larger employees strength, opting for coworking spaces we feel the revolution in the segment has begun. We feel more such established companies will opt plug-and-play model to stay away from the hassles of office management,” says Puneet Chandra, Founder, Skootr.

As to why such companies are moving into tier-II cities, Chandra feels it has much to do with companies looking to cut operation cost. However lower attrition of human resources and availability of cheaper real estate and workforce are few other reasons cited by him.

Skootr also plans to open two more co-working spaces within the next two months in Bengaluru and Gurgaon.
